Crocheted Washcloth
When I find a new afghan pattern that I want to try, I like to try making it in a washcloth first. That way I can see how much I like the pattern before I commit to making a whole afghan with it. Link to tutorial
I really like making crocheted washcloths! They are easy and cute and make a great gift. I can make them up ahead of time and be ready when any occasion arrives. Also, when I want to make a new pattern on an afghan, I like to make up a quick washcloth using that pattern to test it out and see if I like how it looks and figure out my tension.
